The sky People: Prequel Zine 2

They came from the sky. We cab go back to the most primitive cultures & the story is the same. It gets passed down in the for =m of story, song, dance or art. The format isn't so important - the information is, Most of this world has spent thousands of years waging war & fighting over which God is the correct God or which religious text contains the true story of everything. The human race seems to have as many theories as there are people. Maybe there were 8 armed blue people, beings with wings, human hybrids, giants & shape shifters. Maybe we lived among them. In the cave paintings we can see odd depictions of encounters with strange beings. Egyptian Hieroglyphics are a whole other level of wild. Look closely at some of the old Renaissance paintings. they also seem to tell the story of visitors from above.

The PodPeople are also here to tell you their tale. the zine series presented here are the prequel that set the stage for the adventures that await our protagonists many years in the future. Let us go back to the beginning.

They came from the sky.

For those that lived on the island life was good. They lived in a time of Peace and prosperity. While far from perfect, they had created a system that benefitted the majority of the population. commerce thrived, resources were plentiful & people generally felt fulfilled and productive. They built beautiful structures of the finest materials. Creativity was revered & the most gifted among them were rewarded handsomely for their vision & innovation.

Then came the invasion. Without warning, objects appeared in the sky. At first, the objects seemed to be fighting each other. As the people watched in horror they saw flashes in the sky. The ground started to tremble& they could see fire and smoke rising from the shoreline. They had no time to prepare. Panic ensued. They simply grabbed whatever they could and ran for shelter.
